Portland Increase in Murder Rate

The following is a look at the increase in murders in Portland following the protest, riots and demands to defund the police in 2020.

% change for the last seven month of 2020 compared to last seven months of 2019 - 163.1% (since the start of riots and defund movement)

% change for June 2020 to May 2021 compared to June 2019 to May 2020- 262.5%
